Terms of Service
1. What Owline is
Owline designs, builds, hosts, and manages websites for businesses. Parts of the service are AI-assisted: our systems generate site designs, copy, and updates from the information you give us, and our team oversees the platform. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent.
2. Your account
Keep your sign-in details private and your contact information current — we use your verified email address and phone number to authenticate requests, deliver notices, and confirm changes. You're responsible for activity under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us right away.
3. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you turn auto-renew off, which you can do any time in your account settings.
- When you turn auto-renew off, nothing is interrupted immediately: your site stays online through the end of the period you've already paid for, and then goes offline.
- Some larger jobs (a new site, an extra page, a major redesign) use build credits included with your plan. We tell you before any request would use one. Everyday edits don't use credits.
- Prices may change with advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
- Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
4. Domains
When your plan includes a domain, we register and manage it on your behalf for as long as your subscription is active — renewals, DNS, and connection to your site are handled by us. If you cancel, your domain stops renewing after your paid term ends and will eventually expire unless you ask us to transfer it to you, which we'll do at no charge. Domains you already own and connect to your site remain entirely yours; we only ask you to point records at our servers.
5. Your content — and what we generate
Everything you give us — your business details, photos, logos, text — stays yours. You grant us the license we need to host, display, back up, and adapt it for the purpose of running your site. You're responsible for having the rights to what you provide and for the accuracy of claims about your business.
Content our AI generates for your site (layouts, copy, imagery selections) is yours to use as part of your site once published. AI-generated content should be reviewed by you — you approve what goes live, and you're responsible for what your site says. We don't guarantee generated content is unique across the internet.
6. Acceptable use
Your site and your requests must be lawful and honest. We refuse and may remove content that is illegal, deceptive, infringing, hateful, or harmful, and we may decline any request at our discretion. Automated screening runs before content is generated or published; repeated attempts to misuse the service can end it.
7. Text message notifications
With your consent, we can text you about your own site — for example, when a change you asked for is ready to review. Texting is entirely optional and is never required to create an account or use the service. See how opt-in works for the exact steps.
- Consent. You opt in yourself, in your account settings, by entering your phone number and choosing which kinds of texts you want. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of purchase and is never bundled with creating an account.
- Frequency. How often you're texted depends entirely on which notifications you turn on and how often those events happen. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opting out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, and HELP for help. You can also turn texts back off in your account settings.
8. Service changes and availability
We work to keep your site up continuously and the platform improving, and we make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We may change, add, or retire features of the platform; if a change materially reduces what your plan includes, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
9. Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
10. Ending things
You can cancel any time (see section 3). We may suspend or end service for violation of these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law — with notice where practicable. After your service ends we'll keep your content for a reasonable wind-down period, during which you can request an export.
11. The legal frame
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If a portion of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in your dashboard before they apply.
