1. The short version
We collect what we need to build and run your website, we don't sell personal information, we don't run tracking ads, and the sites we host don't use tracking cookies. AI systems help us build and update sites, so information you give us is processed by the AI providers we work with — under contracts, for our service only.
2. What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, phone number, and a password (stored only as a modern salted hash, never readable).
- Business information — what you tell us about your business, plus what you upload: descriptions, photos, logos, hours, services.
- Payment details — handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Card numbers never touch our servers.
- Communications — emails and, if you opt in, text messages between you and our service.
- Service records — your site's versions and edit history, requests you make, and technical logs that keep the platform secure.
3. How we use it
To design, build, host, and manage your website; to carry out changes you request; to bill you; to send service notices; and to keep the platform secure. With your consent, we send occasional news and offers — every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can change your preferences in your dashboard any time.
4. AI processing
Owline is AI-assisted: business information and requests you submit are processed by our AI service providers (such as Anthropic) to generate your site's design, copy, and updates. This processing is for providing our service to you — your information is not used to advertise to you elsewhere.
5. Text messages (SMS)
- You receive texts from us only if you opt in, by entering your phone number and enabling text notifications in your account settings.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@onendoneweb.com.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above sharing excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
6. Visitors to the websites we host
We host websites for our customers. If you're visiting one of those sites:
- We count page views on our own servers to show the site's owner how their site is doing. This uses no cookies, no tracking banners, and no cross-site tracking, and it doesn't identify you.
- If you submit a contact form, your message goes to the business you contacted — we store and deliver it on their behalf.
7. Who we share with
Only the service providers that make the platform work: hosting infrastructure (DigitalOcean), payments (Stripe), email delivery (Mailgun), text messaging (Twilio), AI processing (Anthropic), and domain registration (our registrar partners). Each receives only what its job requires. Beyond that, we disclose information only if the law requires it or to protect the service and its users. We do not sell personal information.
8. Keeping it safe, keeping it around
Data is encrypted in transit, credentials and secrets are encrypted at rest, and access is limited to what running the service requires. We keep your information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal, and accounting purposes — then it's deleted.
9. Your choices
- See, update, or correct your details any time in your dashboard.
- Opt out of marketing email (unsubscribe link or settings) and texts (reply STOP) any time — service notices about your account and billing still send.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and its data: support@onendoneweb.com.
10. Children
Owline is a business service and isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, we'll tell you by email or in your dashboard before the change applies.
